AH my favorite time of year is finally here! On Sunday morning Chris and I grabbed coffee and headed out bright and early for a brisk morning walk around the Trinity College campus in nearby Hartford. The school has beautiful grounds and we can't wait to go back when the leaves are changing. Many thanks to those of you on instagram who shared a few great coffee shops on/near campus - we're trying them all!
I feel like summer gets a lot of credit for being the season that makes everyone slow down and take a break, but for me that season is fall. Something about the welcome drop in temperature and the crispness in the air makes me slow down and really enjoy my days. I love nothing more than bundling up and taking my time with Chris on a good leisurely walk.
Unfortunately most of my outfit is old or unavailable - this blazer was a mid-summer snag from JCrew Collection (it has a satin lapel!) for under $100 and the fit is out of the world!
