Talbots Friends & Family

I saw that Talbots was offering 30% off site wide with code FRIENDS and thought I would share a few classic items that I think would serve anyone well as part of a curated or capsule wardrobe. I partnered with Talbots a few weeks ago to promote their new store in South Norwalk and wore these ponte leggings as part of our collaboration. They are high-waisted, true to size, and nice and thick. Additionally I like the zipper at the ankle to break things up a bit especially if I’m wearing them with a sneaker.

I know the buffalo check maxi skirt may feel extravagent but I own one or two items like this that I wear year after year. I’d pair it with a black turtleneck and a flat for a more casual holiday gathering or dress it up with a black silk cami (these are my favorite) and a great emerald earring for our annual black-tie wine swap.
